ABOUT MADISON FIRST

MADISON FIRST BAPTIST
Madison First Baptist traces its roots back to a tent meeting on Elm Street in 1937. From that humble beginning, the church grew to become a thriving church actively loving and serving the Madison community. The present 1000-seat worship center was dedicated on Aug. 31, 1952 and is still being used after a 2020 renovation.
Today, Madison First Baptist engages the community in many ways. On Mondays, Elevate Ministry provides a hot lunch to those in need. A clothing closet operates out of the church campus. On Tuesday nights, the church offers ESL classes.
Sunday mornings offer a time of Bible study in various age-oriented connect groups. Groups are followed by worship through the preaching of God’s word and the singing of both hymns and modern worship songs.
